The World Goes Round
Proof
This morning, Gaby gave me a Little Ms Sunshine (movie ad) zocard. I didn't know how to spend it. I wanted to do something meaningful with it.
Then I met Billy on the way to the library. And I decided to give him the card. I told him, "You are my sunshine!"
Later in the afternoon, I walked out of one class feeling depressed, frustrated and sad. I met Billy on the way to the next class. He had a frown on his face.
But he stopped, and he dug into his bag and passed me a yellow zocard. It was a Little Ms Sunshine card.
We made no further exchange.
But he wrote on the card that I made his day.
And I messaged him back to tell him he made my day too, because I couldn't stop smiling now.
And then, he replied, to tell me that I made his day again. He had stopped being mad (momentarily at least).
And that made my day all over again.
So there you have it. The world goes round. And round. And round.
