New Year's Resolutions
Hahaha, as always - that time of the year where we fill ourselves with false hope and fantasies. And Guilt.
But this year, I'm going to do something special-er. No more struggling with making sense out of Useless Resolution Making (notice how I've already resigned myself to the fact that they'll never be entirely achieved)- this year, I'm advocating Hope for Hope's sake!
So I'm resolving away!
1) I will LOSE WEIGHT. Dammit this resolution tops my list every year, and gets re-voted in on the Back by Popular Demand list.
2) I will get 2007 (school year) right. The last of official education, I should do it right for once. This means I'll do my homework, pay attention in class and actually study properly and HARD. I do kind of want to get to a university. Like the Ivy League kind of university.
3) I will be kinder to irritating insects (particularly ants). Baygon pesticide only! No killing. Not even when they come very very very very very close to me. And bite me.
4) I will not be awkward. I think this means, I should let go of my inhibitions.
5) I will pay more attention to the people who have always been by my side. But this does not mean I can freak them out with intense affection.
